Kindness Inspires Kindness – World Kindness Day
The Kindness Connection has a goal to provide 4,000 Chicago area youth in under-resourced communities with Kits of Kindness on World Kindness Day, November 13, 2021. Youth are often recipients of others’ generosity but don’t have structured opportunities to give back. We already have organizations including Marillac St. Vincent and Rice Child & Family Center waiting to receive Kits of Kindness boxes and organizations like Shriners Hospital Chicago and Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly welcoming the completed gifts.
At The Kindness Connection, we believe that the gift of giving is the greatest gift of all. TKC’s Kits of Kindness are designed to teach kids compassion, empathy, and social responsibility by giving them the opportunity to create, learn, reflect and spread kindness while creating a gift for someone who will feel joy receiving it.
The project that will be completed by youth volunteers on World Kindness Day is our Stuffed Animal Project. The kit includes all supplies needed to create a stuffed animal gift, a Choose Kind shirt, a kindness activity book, and kindness stickers.
Kindness Inspires Kindness – Help us meet our goal
We are asking businesses and individuals to help us reach this goal through the sponsorship of kits that will be given to youth in under-resourced communities.
With your sponsorship, you will not only feel the warmth of being kind but receive these additional benefits.
